Dear Kinamed Agents, Reps & Distributors,

 

We’ve been making the case that CarboJet is on the path to becoming the new “Standard of Care” in arthroplasty cement technique. As further evidence, there is a growing number of healthcare providers and hospitals who have begun to advertise their use of CarboJet technology to prospective patients as a clinical advantage.

 

The latest exhibit comes from a large Health system, Summa Health, one of Ohio’s largest healthcare systems, who recently published an article in their “Vitality Magazine”, a marketing platform for attracting and retaining patients.

 

The article was independently conceived and written with the input of Dr. Ryan Combs (a CarboJet user for some time). Kinamed’s only input was the provision of the graphics upon request. Below is a screen shot of the article. The full magazine can be viewed here (see page 10 for CarboJet).


How can you use this information to sell more CarboJet?

1)     Increase CarboJet sales at current accounts by getting your customers to publish similar articles to their local patient community touting their state of the art services Including the use of CarboJet.

2)     The next time a potential new account pushes back and asks why they should consider adding an additional cost to their surgery, you can tell them that – not only does CarboJet provide numerous clinical benefits that can save the hospital money long term (better cement technique means lower risk of revision, reduced risk for micro-emboli in cemented hip arthroplasty, etc) – but it can also be a tool for the hospital to differentiate themselves from the competition. Hospitals know that patients are interested in longer lasting TKR, in less pain and opioids after surgery, and reduced risk for embolic events. Your job now is to help the hospital connect the dots from CarboJet to those patient concerns.

 

3)     Don’t count out surgery centers, which tend to more attuned to the competition for patients and are building new websites and launching new patient outreach campaigns daily. Help them understand how CarboJet can be part of that outreach.
