Happy Thursday Kinamed Sales Team,

Anyone who sells SuperCable will get a kick out of this OrthoTwitter exchange surrounding the Zimmer cable tensioning instrument:

Take a look if you’re on Twitter – some of the names given to this instrument are pretty entertaining.

This is the second time this week the Zimmer tensioner’s problems have caught my attention:  The first was an inquiry from an agent wanting to pick up the SuperCable line because he was “tired of watching his surgeons struggle with the Zimmer tensioner in his revision hip cases”.

Like almost any orthopedic instrument, the SuperCable tensioner has its own short learning curve but it is nevertheless very simple and easy to use compared to the metal cable tensioners once your surgeon has used it a couple times (assuming you did a good job in-servicing it).  And of course, the SuperCables themselves solve so many of the problems inherent in metal cable implants.

Remember – you are the one person in your territory who has the ability to provide surgeons with a better option.  Take advantage of that fact by showing SuperCable to the next surgeon you meet!  Then show it to the next one and keep going until every surgeon in your territory knows you are the “SuperCable Guy/Gal”…

Let’s Make it Happen,
