PRICING & SET-PURCHASE VS CONSIGNMENT

Just as Kinamed products are totally unique, our approach to pricing and provision of reusable instruments is unique as well.

Kinamed does not provide a standard price list for sales people to offer customers, but instead considers pricing for each account an individual basis that take several factors into account.

  1. Purchase vs. Consignment:  We encourage set purchase by providing deeper discounts on consumables.  We typically don’t offer consignment as an option.  If set-purchase is hindering product approval, we’ll often offer an “evaluation placement” (temporary 30 – 60 day placement of instruments that may or may not temporarily include the “set purchase” discount on consumables).  We’ll consider consignment as a last resort, but only to customers whose usage volume will justify the cost of consignment.
  2. Usage Volume
  3. Existing pricing at affiliated hospitals within the same health system.

DID YOU KNOW? The vast majority of hospitals and surgery centers that use CarboJet OWN their instruments and tubeset inventory.
