PRICING & SET-PURCHASE VS CONSIGNMENT
Just as Kinamed products are totally unique, our approach to pricing and provision of reusable instruments is unique as well.
Kinamed does not provide a standard price list for sales people to offer customers, but instead considers pricing for each account an individual basis that take several factors into account.
- Purchase vs. Consignment: We encourage set purchase by providing deeper discounts on consumables. We typically don’t offer consignment as an option. If set-purchase is hindering product approval, we’ll often offer an “evaluation placement” (temporary 30 – 60 day placement of instruments that may or may not temporarily include the “set purchase” discount on consumables). We’ll consider consignment as a last resort, but only to customers whose usage volume will justify the cost of consignment.
- Usage Volume
- Existing pricing at affiliated hospitals within the same health system.
DID YOU KNOW? The vast majority of hospitals and surgery centers that use CarboJet OWN their instruments and tubeset inventory.
